Structural, electrical and anisotropic properties of Tl4Se3S chain crystals
QASRAWI, ATEF FAYEZ HASAN; Hasanlı, Nızamı (Elsevier BV, 2009-10-01)
The structure, the anisotropy effect on the current transport mechanism and the space charge limited current in Tl4Se3S chain crystals have been studied by means of X-ray diffraction, electrical conductivity measurements along and perpendicular to the crystal's c-axis and the current voltage characteristics. The temperature-dependent electrical conductivity analysis in the region of 150-400 K, revealed the domination of the thermionic emission of charge carriers over the chain boundaries above 210 and 270 K...
Structural, optical and magnetic properties of Zn1-xCoxO thin films prepared by spray pyrolysis
BACAKSIZ, EMİN; AKSU, SERHAT; Basol, B. M.; Altunbas, M.; Parlak, Mehmet; Yamnaz, E. (Elsevier BV, 2008-09-01)
A series of Co-doped ZnO films were fabricated by a spray pyrolysis method. The X-ray diffraction patterns of the films showed that the undoped and Co-doped ZnO films exhibit wurtzite crystal structure. Surface morphology of the films obtained by scanning electron microscopy reveals that pure ZnO film has the hexagonal shaped microrods. The introduction of Co content in the structure did not affect the surface morphology of the films significantly. Magnetic hysteresis loops were observed at room temperature...
Structural and electronic properties of porphyrin skeleton of chlorophyll
Erkoç, Şakir; Erkoc, F (2002-03-01)
The structural and electronic properties of porphyrin skeleton of chlorophyll have been investigated theoretically by performing semi-empirical and ab-initio molecular orbital theory calculations. The geometry of the system has been optimized considering the semi-empirical molecular orbital theory at the level of PM3, and the electronic properties of the system have been calculated by ab-initio restricted Hartree-Fock (RHF) with full MP2 correlation correction in the ground state included.

Structural and functional damages of whole body ionizing radiation on rat brain homogenate membranes and protective effect of amifostine
ÇAKMAK, GÜLGÜN; Severcan, Mete; Zorlu, Faruk; Severcan, Feride (Informa UK Limited, 2016-01-01)
Purpose: To investigate the effects of whole body ionizing radiation at a sublethal dose on rat brain homogenate membranes and the protective effects of amifostine on these systems at molecular level.
