It is shown the importance of mixing of heavy baryons Xi - Xi' with the new quantum numbers for analysis of its characteristics. The quark model of Ono is used as an example. Masses of new baryons as well as mixing angles of the states Xi - Xi' are obtained. The same reasoning is shown to be valid for the interpolating currents of these baryons in the framework of the QCD sum rules.

Phenomenology of the Heavy Flavored Spin 3/2 Baryons in Light Cone QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (2008-10-02)
Motivated by the results of the recent experimental discoveries for charm and bottom baryons, the masses and magnetic moments of the heavy baryons with J(P) = 3/2(+) containing a single heavy quark are Studied within light Cone QCD sum rules method. Our results on the masses of heavy baryons are in good agreement with predictions of other approaches, as well as with the existing experimental data.
Mass and magnetic moments of the heavy flavored baryons with J=3/2 in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (Elsevier BV, 2009-02-11)
Inspired by the results of recent experimental discoveries for charm and bottom baryons, the masses and magnetic moments of the heavy baryons with J(P) = 3/2(+) containing a single heavy quark are studied within light cone QCD sum rules method. Our results on the masses of heavy baryons are in good agreement with predictions of other approaches, as well as with the existing experimental values. Our predictions on the masses of the states, which are not yet discovered in the experiments, can be tested in the...
Mass Formulas for Xi(c) and Xi(b) Baryons
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (Pleiades Publishing Ltd, 2010-10-01)
The importance of taking into account the mixing of the heavy cascade baryons Xi and Xi' that have new quantum numbers in analyzing their properties is shown. The Ono quark model is considered by way of example. The masses of the new baryons and the Xi-Xi' mixing angles are obtained. The same approach is applied to the interpolating currents of these baryons within QCD sum rules.
Strong coupling constants of heavy spin-3/2 baryons with light pseudoscalar mesons
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2011-11-01)
The strong coupling constants among members of the heavy spin-3/2 baryons containing single heavy quark with light pseudoscalar mesons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. Using symmetry arguments, some structure independent relations among different correlation functions are obtained. It is shown that all possible transitions can be described in terms of one universal invariant function whose explicit expression is Lorenz structure dependent.
Strong Coupling Constants of Heavy Baryons With Light Mesons in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2012-06-21)
The strong coupling constants of the heavy spin-1/2 and spin-3/2 baryons with light pseudoscalar and vector mesons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. Using the symmetry arguments, some structure independent relations among different correlation functions are obtained. It is shown that all possible transitions are described by only one invariant function, whose explicit expression is structure dependent.
