We study the prolongation stucture of a Painleve admissible extension of Burgers equation containing two arbitrary analytic functions obtained by Hlavaty. We also obtain the linear scattering problem through the soliton connection. Furthermore, we give an exact solution for the Burgers-Hlavaty equation.

Discrete symmetries and nonlocal reductions
GÜRSES, METİN; Pekcan, Asli; Zheltukhın, Kostyantyn (Elsevier BV, 2020-01-31)
We show that nonlocal reductions of systems of integrable nonlinear partial differential equations are the special discrete symmetry transformations.
Unified treatment of spacelike and timelike SO(3,1) Yang-Mills fields
Dundarer, AR (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2001-07-01)
SO(3, 1) valued Yang-mills fields stemming from spacelike and timelike vectors that were studied separately in earlier works are unified by introducing a parameter lambda that takes values in the interval [-1, 1].
The radiative K* meson decays in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Iltan, E (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 1996-06-01)
The g(K0*K0 gamma) and g(K+*K+gamma) coupling constants and the radiative decay widths are calculated in the context of QCD sum rules. It is found that the discrepancy between the experimental data and theoretical results still exists.
Thermodynamic functions for diatomic molecules with modified Kratzer plus screened Coulomb potential
Okorie, U. S.; Edet, C. O.; Ikot, A. N.; Rampho, G. J.; Sever, Ramazan (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2020-01-02)
We have solved the Schrodinger equation with the modified Kratzer plus screened Coulomb potential using the modified factorization method. We have also employed both the Greene-Aldrich approximation scheme and a suitable transformation scheme to obtain the energy eigenvalues equation and its corresponding energy eigenfunctions for CO, NO, and N-2 diatomic molecules. Numerical results of the energy eigenvalues for the selected diatomic molecules have been computed and discussed. The effects of the combined p...
The classical involution theorem for groups of finite Morley rank
Berkman, A (Elsevier BV, 2001-09-15)
This paper gives a partial answer to the Cherlin-Zil'ber Conjecture, which states that every infinite simple group of finite Morley rank is isomorphic to an algebraic group over an algebraically closed field. The classification of the generic case of tame groups of odd type follows from the main result of this work, which is an analogue of Aschbacher's Classical Involution Theorem for finite simple groups.
