The Optimization For The Quantification Of Anandamide And 2-Arachidonylglycerol In Blood Samples
Şeker, Tamay (2009-09-27)
The optimal reservoir configuration for maximum productivity index of gas reservoirs depleted by horizontal wells under Darcy and non-Darcy flow conditions
Al-Rbeawi, Salam (2018-01-01)
A new approach for estimating productivity index of horizontal wells depleting finite gas reservoirs is introduced in this paper. This approach focuses on using reservoir configurations and anisotropy as well as wellbore length for calculating productivity index at pseudo-steady state conditions when production time is no longer affects reservoir performance. The paper also aims to determine the optimal reservoir configurations that could give the maximum productivity index.
The Extended-OPQ Method for User-Centered Quality of Experience Evaluation: A Study for Mobile 3D Video Broadcasting over DVB-H
Strohmeier, Dominik; Jumisko-Pyykko, Satu; Kunze, Kristina; Bici, Mehmet Oguz (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2011)
The Open Profiling of Quality (OPQ) is a mixed methods approach combining a conventional quantitative psychoperceptual evaluation and qualitative descriptive quality evaluation based on naive participants' individual vocabulary. The method targets evaluation of heterogeneous and multimodal stimulus material. The current OPQ data collection procedure provides a rich pool of data, but full benefit of it has neither been taken in the analysis to build up completeness in understanding the phenomenon under the s...
The numerical solution on coupling coefficients of corrugated waveguides /
Menteş, Pınar; Çakır, Serhat; Department of Physics (2003)
The problem of propagation and interaction of optical radiation in dielectric waveguides is cast in the coupled-mode formalism. This approach is useful for treating problems involving energy exchange between modes. In this study, the principal features of coupled modetheory are reviewed. A number of guided-wave interactions encountered in guided-wave optics are analyzed using coupled-mode theory. Explicit expressions for the coupling coefficient which play a central role in this theory, are given. Also, an ...
The weight consistency matrix framework for general non-binary LDPC code optimization: Applications in flash memories
Hareedy, Ahmed; Lanka, Chinmayi; Schoeny, Clayton; Dolecek, Lara (2016-08-10)
© 2016 IEEE.Transmission channels underlying modern memory systems, e.g., Flash memories, possess a significant amount of asymmetry. While existing LDPC codes optimized for symmetric, AWGN-like channels are being actively considered for Flash applications, we demonstrate that, due to channel asymmetry, such approaches are fairly inadequate. We propose a new, general, combinatorial framework for the analysis and design of non-binary LDPC (NB-LDPC) codes for asymmetric channels. We introduce a refined definit...
