Yumuşak geçişli koşullu korelasyon (Smooth Transition Conditional Correlation, STCC) modeli önerilmiştir. Bu modelde koşullu korelasyon için iki uç rejim tanımlanmakta ve koşullu korelasyon geçiş değişkenin bir fonksiyonu olarak bu iki rejim arasında yumuşak olarak değişmektedir. Bu projede model olarak yukarda bahsi geçen modeller arasında DCC modeli ve modeller arasında en günceli olan ve bireysel serilerin GARCH süreçleri ile korelasyon süreci arasında etkileşime olanak sağlayan STCC modeli kullanılacaktır ve modellerin performansı karşılaştırılacaktır.
