Multipath Characteristics of Frequency Diverse Arrays Over a Ground Plane
Cetintepe, Cagri; Demir, Şimşek (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 2014-07-01)
This paper presents a theoretical framework for an analytical investigation of multipath characteristics of frequency diverse arrays (FDAs), a task which is attempted for the first time in the open literature. In particular, transmitted field expressions are formulated for an FDA over a perfectly conducting ground plane first in a general analytical form, and these expressions are later simplified under reasonable assumptions. Developed formulation is then applied to a uniform, linear, continuous-wave opera...
Multiplicity and transverse momentum dependence of two- and four-particle correlations in pPb and PbPb collisions
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (Elsevier BV, 2013-07-01)
Measurements of two- and four-particle angular correlations for charged particles emitted in pPb collisions are presented over a wide range in pseudorapidity and full azimuth. The data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of approximately 31 nb(-1), were collected during the 2013 LHC pPb run at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV by the CMS experiment. The results are compared to 2.76 TeV semi-peripheral PbPb collision data, collected during the 2011 PbPb run, covering a similar range ...
Multilevel object tracking on big graph data using interval type-2 fuzzy systems in wireless multimedia sensor networks
Küçükkeçeci, Cihan; Yazıcı, Adnan; Department of Computer Engineering (2020)
Wireless multimedia sensor networks (WMSN) are the key elements of automation systems applied in different domains from home security to immigrant surveillance at a border station. In most of the applications, sensor data needs to be processed for data analytics. However, the interpretation of raw sensor data and unveiling the information inside remains a challenging issue from many aspects. As the interval of the sensor data is frequent, data needs to be treated as big data because of the volume and veloci...
Multiparticle correlations and higher order harmonics in pPb collisions at root s(NN)=8.16 TeV
Wang, Quan; et. al. (Elsevier BV, 2019-02-01)
The elliptic and higher-order azimuthal anisotropy Fourier harmonics (v(n)) are obtained for pPb collisions at root s(NN) = 8.16 TeV over a wide range of event multiplicities based on multiparticle correlations. The data were collected by the CMS experiment during the 2016 LHC run. A sample of peripheral PbPb collisions at root s(NN) = 5.02 TeV covering a similar range of event multiplicities to the pPb results is also analyzed for comparison. The ratios of different harmonic moments are obtained for both v...
