In this study, heat analysis in Magneto-Acousto Electrical Impedance Tomography method is investigated numerically for a two-dimensional simplified breast model. The breast model is excited with a 16-element transducer at 1 MHz under 1 T static magnetic field for one second. The acoustic pressure wave absorption and resistive power dissipation are the sources for heat problem. During the excitation, the temperature increase in the breast tissues is 0.62 ◦C.
