A class of super integrable Korteweg-de Vries systems
Dağ, Hüseyin; Karasu, Atalay; Department of Physics (2003)
A class of nonautonomous coupled KdV systems
Turhan, R (AIP Publishing, 2004-02-01)
A class of nonautonomous coupled Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) systems in (1+1) dimensions are considered for integrability classification. Integrability of the systems is associated with the existence of a certain recursion operator. Some new integrable nonautonomous two-component KdV systems are found. A SUPER-SET OF PATTERSON-WIEDEMANN FUNCTIONS: UPPER BOUNDS AND POSSIBLE NONLINEARITIES
Kavut, Selcuk; MAİTRA, Subhamoy; Özbudak, Ferruh (2018-01-01)
Construction of Boolean functions on an odd number of variables with nonlinearity exceeding the bent concatenation bound is one of the most difficult combinatorial problems within the domain of Boolean functions. This problem also has deep implications in coding theory and cryptology. Patterson and Wiedemann demonstrated instances of such functions back in 1983. For more than three decades efforts have been channeled into obtaining such instances. For the first time, in this paper we explore nontrivial uppe...
A Class of Nonisothermal Variable Thickness Rotating Disk Problems Solved by Hypergeometric Functions
Eraslan, Ahmet Nedim (2005-06-01)
Exact solutions for nonisothermal variable thickness rotating disks represented by different thickness profiles are obtained under plane stress assumption. The solutions are based on Tresca's yield criterion, its associated flow rule and linear strain hardening material behavior. Five different plastic regimes governed by different mathematical forms of the yield criterion are considered for each thickness profile. A displacement formulation is used and the resulting differential equations for the elastic a...
A class of orthogonal polynomials suggested by a trigonometric Hamiltonian : Symmetric states
Taşeli, Hasan (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2004-05-01)
A new subclass of the Jacobi polynomials arising in the exact analytical solution of the one-dimensional Schrodinger equation with a trigonometric potential has been introduced. The polynomials which consist of a free parameter are not ultraspherical polynomials and have been simply named the T - polynomials since they are generated by a trigonometric Hamiltonian. In certain sense, it is shown that the T - polynomials can be regarded as a generalisation of the airfoil polynomials or the Chebyshev polynomial...
