Bu proje kapsamında, Kırım Tatarlarının vatana dönüş sürecinin, bölgesel ve küresel dinamiklerin ışığında incelenmesi öngörülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın bulguları daha önce elde edilen bulgularla birleştirildiğinde Kırım Tatarları hakkında çok daha kapsamlı bir analiz yapılması mümkün olacaktır. Bu araştırma, küreselleşen dünyada disiplinlerarası yaklaşımların ve küresel faktörlerin ele alınmasının, toplumsal gerçeklikleri anlamak açısından önemini göstererek bu tür çalışmaları teşvik edecektir. Kırım'da derinlemesine mülakat tekniği ile görüşmeler yapılacak, ayrıca bu süre zarfında katılımcı gözlemi ile gündelik yaşamları, küresel etkileri nasıl algıladıkları, Ukrayna'daki son siyasi gelişmeleri nasıl değerlendirdikleri tespit edilecektir. Ayrıca, Ukrayna'daki siyasi gelişmelerin doğrudan tespiti için Kiev'de siyasi yetkililer, ve konunun uzmanları ile görüşmeler yapılacaktır.
