Range and Angle Measurement in a Linear Pulsed Frequency Diverse Array Radar
Cetiner, Ramazan; Demir, Şimşek; Hizal, Altunkan (2017-05-12)
The range-angle coupling in Frequency Diverse Array (FDA) radar is uniquely solved. The array operates as a linear pulsed FDA in the transmission (TX) mode while it operates as a pulsed phased array (PA) in the receiving (RX) mode. The duration of FDA TX pulse is chosen as minimum. A novel radar concept is proposed. It is shown that FDA waveform can be further compressed by matched filtering (MF).
Distances and other parameters for 1328 radio pulsars
GUSEINOV, OKTAY H; Yerli, Sinan Kaan; ÖZKAN, SAFİYE; SEZER, AYTAP; TAGIEVA, SEVİNÇ (2004-08-01)
In this work we have collected observational data for 1328 radio pulsars (PSRs). Distances and others parameters for these PSRs were estimated. We present improved distance estimates for radio PSRs by considering the importance of their physical properties and improvement in the distribution of star formation regions in the Galaxy. For this purpose, a list of accurate calibrators was constructed and several natural criteria were established. The following values were calculated from observational data on PS...
Levels and sources of polychlorinated biphenyls in Ankara creek sediments, Turkey
Ozyurek, Nazan Akduman; Gedik, Kadir; Sıltu, Esra; İmamoğlu, İpek (Informa UK Limited, 2013-06-01)
The spatial distribution, degree of pollution and major sources of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) were evaluated in surficial sediments of Ankara Creek, located in the capital of Turkey and serving as one of the tributaries in the third largest watershed in Turkey. Sediment sigma PCB concentrations analyzed on Aroclor and congener basis (seven indicator congeners) range from 5.5 to 777.6ng g1 and 3.7 to 743.3ng g1 dw as Aroclor and congener based concentrations, respectively. High concentrations of sigma ...
Activities of copper oxide and Cu-V and Cu-Mo mixed oxides for H2S removal in the presence and absence of hydrogen and predictions of a deactivation model
Yasyerli, S; Dogu, G; Ar, I; Doğu, Timur (2001-11-14)
Considering the importance of high-temperature removal of H2S from industrial gases, sorption studies were carried out on copper oxide and Cu-V and Cu-Mo mixed oxides in the absence and presence of hydrogen in a fixed-bed reactor. Experiments were carried out in a wide temperature range between 300 and 700 degreesC. A significant amount of SO2 was produced with CuO sorbent in the absence of hydrogen. In the case of mixed oxide sorbents, SO2 formation was detected even in the presence of hydrogen. On the bas...
