Quantum chemical studies on Viagra - AM1 Treatment

2000-01-01
Türker, Burhan Lemi
AM1-RHF type semiempirical calculations were performed on two tautomeric, as well as the various monoprotonated forms of Viagra molecule. The calculations revealed that the pyrimidone form is more stable than the pyrimidinol tautomer. The frontier molecular orbital characteristics as well as some molecular properties were presented.

Nanoscale Thermal Transport in Single, Bilayer Graphene, and Graphite
Gholivand, Hamed; Donmezer, Nazli (2016-10-12)
In this study, ab-initio calculations were performed to obtain phonon dispersions of single, bilayer graphene, and graphite structures. Using these dispersions single mode relaxation times, thermal conductivities, and mean free paths (MFPs) have been calculated. Finally, calculated variables were used to understand the effects of additional layers to thermophysical properties, phonon mode contributions to thermal conductivity, and the limits for ballistic-diffusive heat transfer of single, bilayer graphene,...
Conducting polymers with benzothiadiazole and benzoselenadiazole units for biosensor applications
Emre, Fatma Bilge; Ekiz, Fulya; Balan, Abidin; Emre, Sinan; TİMUR, SUNA; Toppare, Levent Kamil (Elsevier BV, 2011-11-15)
Poly(4,7-di(2,3)-dihydrothienol[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin-5-yl-benzo[1,2,5]thiadiazole) (PBDT) and poly(4,7-di(2,3)-dihydrothienol[3,4-b][1,4]dioxin-5-yl-2,1,3-benzoselenadiazole) (PESeE) were electrochemically deposited on graphite electrodes and used as immobilization matrices for biosensing studies. After electrochemical deposition of the polymeric matrices, glucose oxidase (GOx) was immobilized on the modified electrodes as the model enzyme. In the biosensing studies, the decrease in oxygen level as a result of...
Thermally Stimulated Current Study of Shallow Traps in As-Grown TlInSe2 Chain Crystals
Hasanlı, Nızamı (Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, 2011-03-01)
Thermally stimulated current measurements were carried out on as-grown TlInSe2 single crystals. The investigations were performed in temperatures ranging from 10 to 260 K with heating rate of 0.3 K s(-1). The analysis of the data revealed the hole traps levels located at 6 and 57 meV. The activation energies of the traps have been determined using various methods of analysis, and they agree with each other. The concentration (2.8 x 10(13) and 3.4 x 10(12) cm(-3)) and capture cross section (4.1 x 10(-28) and...
Lateral Size-Dependent Spontaneous and Stimulated Emission Properties in Colloidal CdSe Nanoplatelets
Olutas, Murat; Guzelturk, Burak; Keleştemur, Yusuf; Yeltik, Aydan; Delikanli, Savas; Demir, Hilmi Volkan (2015-05-01)
Here, we systematically investigated the spontaneous and stimulated emission performances of solution-processed atomically flat quasi-2D nanoplatelets (NPLs) as a function of their lateral size using colloidal CdSe core NPLs. We found that the photoluminescence quantum efficiency of these NPLs decreases with increasing lateral size while their photoluminescence decay rate accelerates. This strongly suggests that nonradiative channels prevail in the NPL ensembles having extended lateral size, which is well-e...
Thermally stimulated current measurements in as-grown TIGaSeS layered single crystals
YILDIRIM, TACETTİN; Hasanlı, Nızamı (Elsevier BV, 2009-11-01)
Charge carrier traps in as-grown TIGaSeS layered single crystals were studied using thermally stimulated current measurements. The investigations were performed in temperatures ranging from 10 to 100 K. The experimental evidences were found for the presence of one shallow hole trapping center in TIGaSeS, located at 12 meV from the valence band. The trap parameters have been calculated using various methods of analysis, and these agree well with each other. Its capture cross-section and concentration have be...
