In a class of Es inspired models with a light additional neutral vector boson, we discuss the effects of the magnetic moment of the tau neutrino by analyzing e(+)e(-) --> nu(nu )over bar> at the Z-pole. We take into account present scenarios for the extra Abelian group and vary extra neutral gauge boson mass beyond the present experimental exclusion limits. The present LEP experimental results prove that we can set an upper bound on the magnetic moment of the tan neutrino: K-nuT less than or equal to 1.83 x 10(-6).

Constraints on nonstandard intermediate boson exchange models from neutrino-electron scattering
Sevda, B.; Sen, A.; DEMİRCİ, MEHMET; DENİZ, MUHAMMED; Agartioglu, M.; Ajjaq, A.; KERMAN, SAİME; Singh, L.; Sonay, A.; Wong, H. T.; Zeyrek, Mehmet Tevfik (2017-08-21)
Constraints on couplings of several beyond-Standard-Model-physics scenarios, mediated by massive intermediate particles including ( 1) an extra Z-prime, ( 2) a new light spin-1 boson, and ( 3) a charged Higgs boson, are placed via the neutrino-electron scattering channel to test the Standard Model at a low energy-momentum transfer regime. Data on (nu) over bar (e) - e and nu(e) - e scattering from the TEXONO and LSND, respectively, are used. Upper bounds to coupling constants of the flavor-conserving and fl...
Search for supersymmetry in events with a tau lepton pair and missing transverse momentum in proton-proton collisions at root s=13TeV
Sirunyan, A. M.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2018-11-01)
A search for the electroweak production of supersymmetric particles in protonproton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13TeV is presented in final states with a tau lepton pair. Both hadronic and leptonic decay modes are considered for the tau leptons. Scenarios involving the direct pair production of tau sleptons, or their indirect production via the decays of charginos and neutralinos, are investigated. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 35: 9 fb collected with the CMS detector in 20...
Extended dynamical symmetries of Landau levels in higher dimensions
Kürkcüoğlu, Seçkin; YURDUŞEN, İSMET (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2020-02-14)
Continuum models for time-reversal (TR) invariant topological insulators (Tis) in d >= 3 dimensions are provided by harmonic oscillators coupled to certain SO(d) gauge fields. These models are equivalent to the presence of spin-orbit (SO) interaction in the oscillator Hamiltonians at a critical coupling strength (equivalent to the harmonic oscillator frequency) and leads to flat Landau Level (LL) spectra and therefore to infinite degeneracy of either the positive or the negative helicity states depending on...
Strong Coupling Constants of Heavy Baryons With Light Mesons in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (2012-06-21)
The strong coupling constants of the heavy spin-1/2 and spin-3/2 baryons with light pseudoscalar and vector mesons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. Using the symmetry arguments, some structure independent relations among different correlation functions are obtained. It is shown that all possible transitions are described by only one invariant function, whose explicit expression is structure dependent.
Heavy baryon-light vector meson couplings in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 2011-02-15)
The strong coupling constants of heavy baryons with light vector mesons are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules using the most general form of the interpolating currents for the heavy baryons. It is shown that the sextet sextet, sextet-antitriplet and antitriplet-antitriplet transitions are described by one invariant function for each class of transitions. The values of the electric and magnetic coupling constants for these transitions are obtained.
