In the presence of the supersymmetric CP phases, e(+)e(-) --> Z* --> hA scattering is analyzed, with special emphasis on Z* hA vertex, taking into account radiatve corrections due to dominant top quark and top squark loops in the Higgs sector as well as the vertex formfactors. It is found that the lightest Higgs remains essentially CP-even whereas the heavier ones mix with each other strongly. Moreover, the supersymmetric CP phases are found to create tree-level couplings between a pseudoscalar and identical sfermion mass eigenstates which, together with the radiative corrections in the Higgs sector, are found to enhance the vertex formfactors significantly. Measurements of W gamma and Z gamma production in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the LHC
Aad, G.; et. al. (American Physical Society (APS), 2013-06-04)
The integrated and differential fiducial cross sections for the production of a W or Z boson in association with a high-energy photon are measured using pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV. The analyses use a data sample with an integrated luminosity of 4.6 fb(-1) collected by the ATLAS detector during the 2011 LHC data-taking period. Events are selected using leptonic decays of the W and Z bosons [W(e nu, mu nu) and Z(e(+)e(-), mu(+)mu(-), nu(nu) over bar)] with the requirement of an associated isolated photon...
Measurement of the transverse momentum spectra of weak vector bosons produced in proton-proton collisions at root s=8TeV
Khachatryan, V.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2017-02-01)
The transverse momentum spectra of weak vector bosons are measured in the CMS experiment at the LHC. The measurement uses a sample of proton-proton collisions at root s = 8TeV, collected during a special low-luminosity running that corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 18: 4 +/- 0: 5 pb(-1). The production of W bosons is studied in both electron and muon decay modes, while the production of Z bosons is studied using only the dimuon decay channel. The ratios of W- to W+ and Z to W di ff erential cross s...
Measurement with the ATLAS detector of multi-particle azimuthal correlations in p plus Pb collisions at root s(NN)=5.02 TeV
Aad, G.; et. al. (Elsevier BV, 2013-08-09)
In order to study further the long-range correlations ("ridge") observed recently in p + Pb collisions at root s(NN) = 5.02 TeV, the second-order azimuthal anisotropy parameter of charged particles, v(2), has been measured with the cumulant method using the ATLAS detector at the LHC. In a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of approximately 1 mu b(-1), the parameter v(2) has been obtained using two- and four-particle cumulants over the pseudorapidity range vertical bar eta vertical bar < 2...
Measurement of the differential inclusive B+ hadron cross sections in pp collisions at root s=13TeV
Khachatryan, V.; et. al. (Elsevier BV, 2017-08-01)
The differential cross sections for inclusive production of B+ hadrons are measured as a function of the B+ transverse momentum p(T)(B) and rapidity y(B) in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, using data collected by the CMS experiment that correspond to an integrated luminosity of 48.1 pb(-1). The measurement uses the exclusive decay channel B+ -> J/psi K+, with J/psi mesons that decay to a pair of muons. The results show a reasonable agreement with theoretical calculations within the uncer...
Measurement of the Z gamma production cross section in pp collisions at 8 TeV and search for anomalous triple gauge boson couplings
Khachatryan, V.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2015-04-01)
The cross section for the production of Z gamma in proton-proton collisions at 8 TeV is measured based on data collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.5 fb(-1). Events with an oppositely-charged pair of muons or electrons together with an isolated photon are selected. The differential cross section as a function of the photon transverse momentum is measured inclusively and exclusively, where the exclusive selection applies a veto on central jets. The observ...
