A possible generalization of plane fronted waves with parallel rays (gpp-wave) falls into a more general class of metrics admitting parallel null 1-planes. For gpp-wave metric, the zero-curvature condition is given, the Killing-Yano tensors of order two and three are found and the corresponding Killing tensors are constructed. Henceforth, the compatibility between geometric duality and non-generic symmetries is presented.

Higher dimensional metrics of colliding gravitational plane waves
Gurses, M; Kahya, EO; Karasu, Atalay (2002-07-15)
We give a higher even dimensional extension of vacuum colliding gravitational plane waves with the combinations of collinear and noncollinear polarized four-dimensional metrics. The singularity structure of space-time depends on the parameters of the solution.
NULL AND INFINITESIMAL ISOTROPY IN SEMI-RIEMANNIAN GEOMETRY
GARCIARIO, E; KUPELI, DN (1994-04-01)
Null and infinitesimal isotropy are defined for semi-Riemannian manifolds in a more general context. A theorem of Karcher is extended to semi-Riemannian manifolds in a more general setting. Also, by using this theorem, a characterization of static blackhole metrics can be made as well as a characterization of Robertson-Walker metrics as Karcher made.
Loop Representation of Wigner’s Little Groups
Başkal, Sibel; Kim, Young S.; Noz, Marilyn E (MDPI AG, 2017-6-23)
Wigner's little groups are the subgroups of the Lorentz group whose transformations leave the momentum of a given particle invariant. They thus define the internal space-time symmetries of relativistic particles. These symmetries take different mathematical forms for massive and for massless particles. However, it is shown possible to construct one unified representation using a graphical description. This graphical approach allows us to describe vividly parity, time reversal, and charge conjugation of the ...
Forward-backward asymmetry of Drell-Yan lepton pairs in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV
Chatrchyan, S.; et. al. (2013-01-01)
A measurement of the forward-backward asymmetry (A(FB)) of Drell-Yan lepton pairs in pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV is presented. The data sample, collected with the CMS detector, corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 5 fb(-1). The asymmetry is measured as a function of dilepton mass and rapidity in the dielectron and dimuon channels. Combined results from the two channels are presented, and are compared with the standard model predictions. The A(FB) measurement in the dimuon channel and the combinati...
Measurement of the Azimuthal Angle Dependence of Inclusive Jet Yields in Pb plus Pb Collisions at root s(NN)=2.76 TeV with the ATLAS Detector
Aad, G.; et. al. (American Physical Society (APS), 2013-10-09)
Measurements of the variation of inclusive jet suppression as a function of relative azimuthal angle, Delta phi, with respect to the elliptic event plane provide insight into the path-length dependence of jet quenching. ATLAS has measured the Delta phi dependence of jet yields in 0.14 nb(-1) of root s(NN) = 2.76 TeV Pb + Pb collisions at the LHC for jet transverse momenta p(T) > 45 GeV in different collision centrality bins using an underlying event subtraction procedure that accounts for elliptic flow. The...
