We study the process e(+)e(-) -> nu(nu) over bar gamma to search for its sensitivity to the extra gauge bosons Z(2), Z(3) and W-2(+/-), which are suggested by the little Higgs models. We find that the ILC with root s= 0.5 TeV and CLIC with root s = 3 TeV cover different regions of the LHM parameters. We show that this channel can provide a determination of the parameters, complementary to measurements of the extra gauge bosons obtainable at the upcoming LHC experiments.

Z -> l(+)l(-) and W ->nu(l)l(+) decays in the noncommutative standard model
Iltan, EO (American Physical Society (APS), 2002-08-01)
We study Z-->l(+)l(-) and W-->nu(l)l(+) decays in the standard model including noncommutative effects. We observe that these effects appear in the flavor-dependent part of the decay widths of the processes under consideration and, therefore, they are more effective for the heavy lepton decays.
The decay tau ->mu(nu)over-bar(i)nu(i) in the Randall-Sundrum background with localized U(1)(Y) gauge boson
Iltan, E. O.; SUNDU PAMUK, HAYRİYE (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2008-02-01)
We study the effects of localization of the U(1)(Y) gauge boson around the visible brane and the contributions of the Kaluza-Klein modes of Z bosons on the branching ratio of the lepton flavor violating tau ->mu(nu) over bar (i)nu(i) decay. We observe that the branching ratio is sensitive to the amount of localization of the Z boson in the bulk of the Randall - Sundrum background.
Detecting the long-distance structure of the $$X(3872)$$ X ( 3872 )
Guo, Feng-Kun; Hidalgo-Duque, Carlos; Nieves, Juan; Ozpineci, Altug; Valderrama, Manuel Pavón (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2014-5)
We study the X(3872) → D0D¯ 0π0 decay within a DD¯ ∗ molecular picture for the X(3872) state. This decay mode is more sensitive to the long-distance structure of the X(3872) resonance than its J/ψππ and J/ψ3π decays, which are mainly controlled by the details of the X(3872) wave function at short distances. We show that the D0D¯ 0 final state interaction can be important, and that a precise measurement of this partial decay width can provide valuable information on the interaction strength between t...
Design, performance, and calibration of CMS forward calorimeter wedges
Abdullin, S.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2008-01-01)
We report on the test beam results and calibration methods using high energy electrons, pions and muons with the CMS forward calorimeter (HF). The HF calorimeter covers a large pseudorapidity region (3 <= vertical bar eta vertical bar <= 5), and is essential for a large number of physics channels with missing transverse energy. It is also expected to play a prominent role in the measurement of forward tagging jets in weak boson fusion channels in Higgs production. The HF calorimeter is based on steel absorb...
H+-> W+iota(-)(i)iota(+)(j) decay in the two Higgs doublet model
Iltan, EO; Sundu, H (American Physical Society (APS), 2003-02-01)
We study the lepton flavor violating (LFV) H+-->W(+)l(i)(-)l(j)(+) and the lepton flavor conserving (LFC) H+-->W(+)l(i)(-)l(i)(+) (l(i)=tau,l(j)=mu) decays in the framework of the general two Higgs doublet model, the so-called model III. We estimate the decay width of LFV (LFC) decay at the order of magnitude of 10(-11)-10(-5) GeV (10(-9)-10(-4) GeV), for 200 GeVless than or equal tom(H+/-)less than or equal to400 GeV, and intermediate values of the coupling (xi) over bar (E)(N,taumu)similar to5 GeV ((xi) o...
