In this work, we present X-ray analysis result of SNR G27.4+0.0 observed by XMM-Newton satellite. Three EPIC detectors are studied comparatively. The spatial and spectral analysis are performed, 0.3-10 keV (all band). In order to define possible distribution of interested abundances soft, medium and hard X-ray images are constructed. NEI (Non-equilibrium ionization) plasma model is used for spectral modelling. Electron temperature (kT), neutral hydrogen column density and ionization time are estimated in the physical range. Flux and luminosity values are calculated for hard (2-10 keV) band. Intrinsic absorption is calculated to be higher than the expected galactic value, due to thick opaque remnant. Based on the analysis results we try to understand the undergoing physical mechanisms in the SNR G27.4+0.0.

Suzaku observation of the Galactic supernova remnant CTB 37A (G348.5+0.1)
Sezer, A.; GÖK, FATMA; Hudaverdi, M.; ERCAN, ENİSE NİHAL (2011-10-01)
In this paper, we present the results of the observations of CTB 37A obtained with the X-ray imaging spectrometer onboard the Suzaku satellite. The X-ray spectrum of CTB 37A is fitted well by two components: a single-temperature ionization equilibrium component (VMEKAL), with solar abundances, an electron temperature of kTe similar to 0.6 keV and an absorbing column density of NH similar to 3 x 1022 cm-2, and a power-law component with a photon index of G similar to 1.6. The X-ray spectrum of CTB 37A is cha...
Suzaku Analysis of A1800
Aktekin, E.; GÖK, FATMA; Hudaverdi, M.; Sezer, Ali Devin; ERCAN, ENİSE NİHAL (2009-09-24)
In this work, we present results of the analysis of data the Abell 1800 cluster of galaxies obtained from X-ray observations by the Suzaku satellite. A1800 is a nearby (z=0.0755) cluster, located at RA=13h49m41s, DEC=+28d04.1m. The intra cluster hot plasma properties are studied by the XIS detector. The radial profile is studied in order to understand the intracluster medium (ICM) morphology and the dynamical history of the cluster. Based on the imaging and spectral analysis we try to understand the structu...
Jet energy resolution in proton-proton collisions at root s 7 TeV recorded in 2010 with the ATLAS detector
Aad, G.; et. al. (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2013-03-01)
The measurement of the jet energy resolution is presented using data recorded with the ATLAS detector in proton-proton collisions at s√=7 TeV. The sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 35 pb−1. Jets are reconstructed from energy deposits measured by the calorimeters and calibrated using different jet calibration schemes. The jet energy resolution is measured with two different in situ methods which are found to be in agreement within uncertainties. The total uncertainties on these measurements r...
Radiometric Camera Calibration of BiLSAT Small Satellite: Preliminary Results
Frıedrıch, Jurgen; Leloğlu, Uğur Murat; Tunalı, Erol (2006-02-16)
The studies on radiometric camera calibration of multispectral camera of the BiLSAT satellite is presented in this work. During the study, various dark images and flat-field images have been taken, and deviations from ideal has been investigated. Various sources of error have been studied and the non-homogeneous response of the CCD is explicitly modeled. Images have been corrected according to the models and the results have been discussed.
Spontaneous Lorentz violation: the case of infrared QED
Balachandran, A. P.; Kürkcüoğlu, Seçkin; de Queiroz, A. R.; VAİDYA, SACHİN (2015-02-24)
It is by now clear that the infrared sector of quantum electrodynamics (QED) has an intriguingly complex structure. Based on earlier pioneering work on this subject, two of us recently proposed a simple modification of QED by constructing a generalization of the U(1) charge group of QED to the "Sky" group incorporating the well-known spontaneous Lorentz violation due to infrared photons, but still compatible in particular with locality (Balachandran and Vaidya, Eur Phys J Plus 128:118, 2013). It was shown t...
