The effect of network coding on error performance in a noisy cooperative relay network Gürültülü i̇sbi̇rli̇kçi̇ telsi̇z röle aǧinda aǧ kodlamasinin başarim üzeri̇ndeki̇ etki̇si̇
Şafak, Ilgin; AKTAŞ, EMRE; Yılmaz, Ali Özgür (2011-07-21)
In this study, a new system for computer vision-based recognition of human actions is presented. The proposed system uses videos as input. The approach is invariant of the location of the action and zoom levels, the appearance of the person, partial occlusions including self-occlusions and some viewpoint changes. It is robust against temporal length variations. Keypoints are tracked through time and the trajectories of tracked keypoints are used for interpreting the human action in the video. Then, features...

The Effect of Labeled/Unlabeled Prior Information for Masseter Segmentation
Tabar, Yousef Rezaei; Ulusoy, İlkay (Hindawi Limited, 2013-01-01)
Several segmentation methods are implemented and applied to segment the facial masseter tissue from magnetic resonance images. The common idea for all methods is to take advantage of prior information from different MR images belonging to different individuals in segmentation of a test MR image. Standard atlas-based segmentation methods and probabilistic segmentation methods based on Markov random field use labeled prior information. In this study, a new approach is also proposed where unlabeled prior infor...
The effect of peripheral circuits on the total pi-electron energies of cyclacenes
Türker, Burhan Lemi (2000-01-01)
Within the framework of the Huckel molecular orbital theory, certain linear models are developed to express the contribution of peripheral circuits of cyclacenes into their total pi -electron energies, which explain why cyclacenes exhibit the cryptoannulenic behavior as their peripheral circuits which are annulenic in character.
