Non-rigid 3D shape retrieval has become a research hotpot in communities of computer graphics, computer vision, pattern recognition, etc. In this paper, we present the results of the SHREC’15 Track: Non-rigid 3D Shape Retrieval. The aim of this track is to provide a fair and effective platform to evaluate and compare the performance of current non-rigid 3D shape retrieval methods developed by different research groups around the world. The database utilized in this track consists of 1200 3D watertight trian...
MLFMA solutions of transmission problems Involving realistic metamaterial walls
Ergül, Özgür Salih; Gürel, Levent (2007-08-31)
We present the solution of multilayer metamaterial (MM) structures containing large numbers of unit cells, such as split-ring resonators. Integral-equation formulations of scattering problems are solved iteratively by employing a parallel implementation of the multilevel fast multipole algorithm. Due to ill-conditioned nature of the problems, advanced preconditioning techniques are used to obtain rapid convergence in the iterative solutions. By constructing a sophisticated simulation environment, we accurat...
MRF-BASED PLANAR CO-SEGMENTATION FOR DEPTH COMPRESSION
Ozkalayci, Burak; Alatan, Abdullah Aydın (2014-10-30)
An energy based planar depth representation is proposed to obtain an efficient depth compression tool for 3DV applications. The proposed segmentation-based depth compression approach is designed by reflecting the rate-distortion tradeoff into the energy terms. A PEARL based algorithm is developed to obtain the planar approximations of depth images. Lastly depth reconstruction and novel view rendering results of the proposal compared with the state-of-the-art methods. The experiments show that the planar app...
NAF Experiment Lithospheric Structure of the Central North Anatolia From S wave Receiver Function Analysis

Abstract The North Anatolian Fault is a nearly 1400 km long major right-lateral strike-slip fault. It forms the northern margin of the Anatolian plate, which escapes westward as a result of the convergence between the northward moving Arabian plate and the relatively stable Eurasian plate. The North Anatolian Fault, which has caused many destructive earthquakes, is a young and active continental transform boundary located in part along an old suture zone. In order to investigate the lithospheric deformation...
