New Steroidal 4-Aminoquinolines Antagonize Botulinum Neurotoxin Serotype A in Mouse Embryonic Stem Cell Derived Motor Neurons in Postintoxication Model.
Konstantinović, J; Kiriş, Erkan; Kota, KP; Kugelman-Tonos, J; Videnović, M; Cazares, LH; Terzić, Jovanović; Verbić, TŽ; Andjelković, B; Duplantier, AJ; Bavari, S; Šolaja, BA (American Chemical Society (ACS), 2018-02-22)
The synthesis and inhibitory potencies against botulinum neurotoxin serotype A light chain (BoNT/A LC) using in vitro HPLC based enzymatic assay for various steroidal, benzothiophene, thiophene, and adamantane 4-aminoquinoline derivatives are described. In addition, the compounds were evaluated for the activity against BoNT/A holotoxin in mouse embryonic stem cell derived motor neurons. Steroidal derivative 16 showed remarkable protection (up to 89% of uncleaved SNAP-25) even when administered 30 min postin...
New chiral synthon from the PLE catalyzed enantiomeric separation of 6-acetoxy-3-methylcyclohex-2-en-1-one
Tanyeli, Cihangir; Dikici, E (1996-08-01)
(+/-)-6-Acetoxy-3-methylcyclohex-2-en-1-one was resolved by PLE catalyzed hydrolysis to afford (+)-6-hydroxy-3-methylcyclohex-2-en-1-one in >95% e.e. (+)-6-Hydroxy-3-methylcyclohex-2-en-1-one was transformed to its (S)-O-acetyllactyl ester derivative to determine the e.e. %. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
New physics effects in the rare B-s -> gamma l(+)l(-) decays with a polarized photon
Yilmaz, UO; Sirvanli, BB; Turan, Gürsevil (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2003-09-01)
Using the most general model independent form of the effective Hamiltonian, the rare B-s --> gammal(+)l(-) decays are studied by taking into account the polarization of the photon. The total and the differential branching ratios for these decays, when the photon is in the positive or the negative helicity state, are presented. The dependence of these observables on the new Wilson coefficients is studied. Also is investigated the sensitivity of the 'photon polarization asymmetry' in B-s-->gammal(+)l(-) decay...
New hidden beauty molecules predicted by the local hidden gauge approach and heavy quark spin symmetry
Xiao, C. W.; Özpineci, Altuğ; Oset, E. (2010-06-24)
Using a coupled channel unitary approach, combining the heavy quark spin symmetry and the dynamics of the local hidden gauge, we investigate the meson-meson interaction with hidden beauty. We obtain several new states of isospin I = 0: six bound states, and weakly bound six more possible states which depend on the influence of the coupled channel effects.
