HD37424: SNR S147'deki OB türü Kaçan Yıldızın Keşfi

Süpernova kalıntılarında (SNR) OB türü kaçan yıldızları aradığımız projemizin ilk sonucu olan S147 isimli kalıntıda bulduğumuz HD37424 adlı OB türü kaçan yıldızı sunacağız. Tayf gözlemleriyle tayf türünü ve çizgisel hızını belirlediğimiz yıldızın literatürdeki düzgün hareketini de hesaplayarak uzay hızının 74+/-8 km/s olduğunu bulduk. HD37424'ün ve kalıntıdaki pulsarın hareketini geriye çektiğimizde 30000 +/- 4000 yıl önce aynı anda, aynı yerde olduklarını bulduk. Böylece yıldızın, kalıntının atayıldızının patlama öncesi çift yıldız eşi olduğunu gösterdik. HD37424, kalıntısı ve pulsarı bilinen ilk OB türü kaçan yıldızdır. Bu keşifle, kalıntının temel özelliklerini çok daha hassas bir şekilde hesapladık. Ayrıca, atayıldızın kütle aralığı ve patlama öncesi sistemin dinamikleri de gösterildi.
