A monomer, 4-(2,5-di(thiophen-2-yl)-1H-pyrrol-1-yl) benzenamine (SNS-NH2), was synthesized via the reaction of 1,4-di(2-thienyl)-1,4-butanedione with benzene-1,4-diamine. Chemical polymerization of the monomer yielded a polymer which was completely soluble in organic solvents.
