Calculation of core losses of a six-phase induction motor with third harmonic current injection
Büyükbaş, Afşin; Ertan, Hulusi Bülent; Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2004)
The advantages of using a six-phase induction motor for industrial drives, over the conventional three-phase drive can be summarized as improved reliability, reduction on the power ratings for the static converters and harmonic reduction. A technique of injecting third harmonic zero sequence current components in the phase currents to improve the machine torque density was presented recently by another research study. However, to meaninigfully evaluate the performnce of such machines and/or to be able to ma...
Calculation of the Raman frequency as a function of pressure for the phases of I, III, IV and V in cyclohexane
Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit (2014-06-05)
The Raman frequencies of the v(5) mode are calculated as a function of pressure up to 10 GPa (room temperature) for the phases I, III, IV and V of cyclohexane using the volume data from the literature by means of the isothermal mode Griineisen parameter gamma(T) of this mode.
Calculation of the infrared frequency and the damping constant (full width at half maximum) for metal organic frameworks
Kurt, M.; Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit; Kurt, Aygül; Aksoy, S. (IOP Publishing, 2019-06-01)
The rho(NH2) infrared (IR) frequencies and the corresponding full width at half maximum (FWHM) values for (CH3)(2)(NH2FeMII)-M-III(HCOO)(6) (DMFeM, M = Ni, Zn, Cu, Fe, and Mg) are analyzed at various temperatures by using the experimental data from the literature. For the analysis of the IR frequencies of the rho(NH2) mode which is associated with the structural phase transitions in those metal structures, the temperature dependence of the mode frequency is assumed as an order parameter and the IR frequenci...
CALCULATION OF THE MOLAR VOLUME IN THE SOLID AND LIQUID PHASES OF CCl4
Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2010-01-10)
The molar volume of carbon tetrachloride is calculated as functions of temperature and pressure close tot he melting point. By analyzing the experimental data for the pressure dependence of the thermal expansivity according to a power-law formula, the molar volume is calculated for the solid and liquid phases of this molecular organic compound.
Calculation of the magnetization and the heat capacity for [NH2 NH3][M(HCOO)3] (M=Fe, Mn) near the phase transitions
Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit; Doğan, Emel (2022-01-01)
Temperature dependence of the magnetization M(T) is calculated for [NH2 NH3][M(HCOO)3] (M=Fe, Mn), namely, HyFe (perovskite and chiral) below (Formula presented.) =12.5 K and, for HyMn (chiral) below and above (Formula presented.) =7.9 K (at 100 Oe) by the molecular field theory (MFT). Close to the magnetic transition temperature ((Formula presented.)), the temperature (at 100 Oe) and the field (at 2K) dependence of the magnetization M(T, H) is analyzed by the power–law formula using the literature data. Ma...
