Shallow trapping center parameters in as-grown AgIn5S8 crystals determined by thermally stimulated current measurements
YILDIRIM, TACETTİN; Hasanlı, Nızamı (Wiley, 2009-12-01)
Thermally stimulated current measurements were carried out on as-grown AgIn5S8 single crystals. The investigations were performed in temperatures ranging from 10 to 70 K with heating rate of 0.2 K/s. The analysis of the data revealed the electron trap level located at 5 meV. The activation energies of the traps have been determined using various methods of analysis, and they agree with each other. The calculation for these traps yielded 2.2 x 10(-25) cm(2) for capture cross section and 6.1 x 10(12) cm(-3) f...
Shallow trapping centers in Bi12GeO20 single crystals by thermally stimulated current measurements
Delice, S.; Isik, M.; Hasanlı, Nızamı (2022-12-01)
© 2022 Elsevier LtdBi12GeO20 single crystals were investigated by thermally stimulated current (TSC) experiments performed in the temperature range of 10–290 K. Recorded TSC glow curve exhibited six distinctive peaks with maxima at around 90, 105, 166, 209, 246, 275 K. The analyses of the obtained glow curve were accomplished by curve fitting and initial rise methods. The analysis results were in good agreement that the TSC peaks appeared in the glow curve due to existence of trapping levels with activation...
Barrier engineering for HgCdTe unipolar detectors on alternative substrates
Uzgur, Fatih; Kocaman, Serdar (2019-03-01)
Delta-doped layers together with compositionally grading have been utilized to get nBn configurations for the HgCdTe material system in all the short-wave (SWIR), medium-wave (MWIR) and long-wave (LWIR) infrared bands. Shockley Read Hall (SRH), trap-assisted tunneling (TAT), Auger and radiative recombination mechanisms have been included in the analyses and strong suppression of SRH and TAT currents have been demonstrated with the designed structures. This methodology is especially useful when the carrier l...
Flavor changing neutral current processes in the framework of the two Higgs doublet model
Turan, İsmail; İltan, Erhan Onur; Department of Physics (2003)
It is widely believed that the Standard Model (SM) can not be a fundamental theory of the basic interactions. Originated from this fact, many new physics models have been proposed. Among them, the two Higgs doublet model (2HDM), the SM enlarged by adding one extra scalar doublet, is considered as the simplest extension of the SM. In this work, within the framework of the model III version of the 2HDM, the exclusive decay the branching ratio is calculated and discussed in various physical regions determined ...
