A wireless implantable multichannel digital neural recording system for a micromachined sieve electrode
Akın, Tayfun; Bradley, R.M. (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 1998)
This paper reports the development of an implantable, fully integrated, multichannel peripheral neural recording system, which is powered and controlled using an RF telemetry link, The system allows recording of +/-500 mu V neural signals from axons regenerated through a micromachined silicon sieve electrode, These signals are amplified using on-chip 100 Hz to 3.1 kHz bandlimited amplifiers, multiplexed, and digitized with a low-power (<2 mW), moderate speed (8 mu s/b) current-mode 8-b analog-to-digital con...
A Novel Amperometric Glutamate Biosensor Based on Glutamate Oxidase Adsorbed on Silicalite

In this work, we developed a new amperometric biosensor for glutamate detection using a typical method of glutamate oxidase (GlOx) immobilization via adsorption on silicalite particles. The disc platinum electrode (d = 0.4 mm) was used as the amperometric sensor. The procedure of biosensor preparation was optimized. The main parameters of modifying amperometric transducers with a silicalite layer were determined along with the procedure of GlOx adsorption on this layer. The biosensors based on GlOx adsorbed...

A Novel broad-phase continuous-time collision detection algorithm
Kaya, Tarık; Hacıhabiboğlu, Hüseyin; Department of Game Technologies (2016)
Today’s game development tools rely on realistic physics simulation more than ever. Physics simulation is a highly sophisticated subject, which can be approached from various angles, because of the impossibility of exact simulation. The impossibility of exact simulation for real world physics comes from the requirements of infinite precision, resolution and therefore infinite computational power. Hence the main aim of game physics simulations is making the game-world seem as physically realistic as feasible...
