On the quantization of the chiral solitonic bag model
Pak, Namık Kemal; YILMAZ, T (1990-01-01)
A consistent quantization scheme for the two-flavor chiral solitonic bag model with unequal quark masses is developed employing a propagator formulation.
On the strategies for NONEMPTY in topological games
Önal, Süleyman (Elsevier BV, 2020-06-01)
We prove that if NONEMPTY has a Markov strategy in the Choquet game on a space X, then the player has a 2-tactic in that game. We also prove that if NONEMPTY has a k-Markov strategy in the Choquet game on a space X which has a Noetherian base with countable rank, then the player has a k-tactic in that game. We show that if NONEMPTY has a winning strategy in the Choquet game on a space X which has one of the some special bases including sigma-locally countable bases, then the player has a 2-tactic in that ga...
On the Poisson sum formula for analysis of EM radiation/scattering from large finite arrays
Aydın Çivi, Hatice Özlem; Chou, HT (1998-01-01)
A useful procedure, that has been described previously in the literature, employs the Poisson sum formula to represent the solution to the fields of a three-dimensional (3D) large periodically spaced finite planar array problem configuration as a convolution of the infinite planar periodic array solution and the Fourier transform of the equivalent aperture distribution over the finite array. It is shown here that the Poisson sum formula utilized by Felsen and Carin (see J. Opt. Soc. Am. A, vol.11, no.4, p.1...
ON THE ELIMINATION OF INFINITIES IN THE PO COMPONENT OF EQUIVALENT EDGE CURRENTS
OGUZER, T; ALTINTAS, A; BUYUKDURA, OM (1993-10-01)
Equivalent edge currents for the Physical Optics (PO) contribution to the edge diffraction are derived by choosing a proper coordinate system for a half plane. It is seen that these expressions for the PO component are free from singularities except at shadow and reflection boundaries on the Keller Cone. To find the total diffracted field, the expressions for the fringe contribution given earlier by Michaeli should be used along with the PO contribution obtained here. The procedure is applied to the problem...
