HF and DFT studies and vibrational spectra of 1,2-bis(2-pyridyl) ethylene and its zinc (II) halide complexes
Ozhamam, Z.; Yurdakul, Murat Hayrettin; Yurdakul, S. (2007-03-11)
Ab initio restricted Hartree-Fock and density function theory calculations using BLYP, B3LYP and B3PW91 functionals were carried out to study molecular structure and vibrational spectrum of 1,2-bis(2-pyridyl)ethylene (which is abbreviated as bpe). Comparison of calculated and experimental results indicates the density functional B3LYP and BLYP/6-311G* methods are more accurate in predicting fundamental vibrational frequencies than the scaled other approaches. On the basis of calculated results, assignment o...
HFE based multi-variate quadratic cryptosystems and Dembowski Ostrom polynomials
Alam, Bilal; Akyıldız, Ersan; Kırlar, Barış Bülent; Department of Cryptography (2013)
Harayama and Friesen proposed linearised binomial attack for multivariate quadratic cryptosystems and introduced weak Dembowski Ostrom(DO) polynomials in this framework over the finite fi eld F2. They conjecture about the existence of infi nite class of weak DO polynomials and presented the open problem of enumerating their classes. We extend linearised binomial attack to multivariate quadratic cryptosystems over Fp for any prime p and redefi ne the weak DO polynomials for general case. We identify an in fi...
HF spectrum occupancy and antennas
Casimiro, Antonio; Azevedo, Joaquim; Economou, Lefteris; Haralambous, Haris; Tulunay, Ersin; Tulunay, Yurdanur; Bahadirlar, Yildirim; Turk, A. Serdar; Warrington, E. Michael (2009-06-01)
This paper deals with the research made during the COST 296 action in the WG2, WP 2.3 in the antennas and HF spectrum management fields, focusing the Mitigation of Ionospheric Effects on Radio Systems as the subject of this COST action.
HLA fom development with model transformations
Dinç, Ali Cem; Oğuztüzün, Mehmet Halit S.; Department of Computer Engineering (2010)
There has been a recent interest in the model-based development approach in the modeling and simulation community. The Model-Driven Architecture (MDA) of OMG envisions a fully model-based development process where models are created for capturing not only requirements, but also designs and implementations. Domain-specific metamodels and model transformations constitute the cornerstones of this approach. We have developed transformations from the data part of Field Artillery (FA) domain models to High Level ...
H2 Storage at Ambient Temperature using Cu(I)-SSZ-39
İpek Torun, Bahar; Üner, Deniz (2019-06-23)
Hydrogen storage capacities of transition metal cation exchanged zeolites; i.e., Cu(I)-SSZ-39 and Cu(I)-US-Y, were tested at temperatures between 279 K and 304 K and at pressures up to 1 bar. The hydrogen capacity values were higher for Cu(I)-exchanged SSZ-39, which has smaller pore openings and a cage when compared to a large-pore zeolite: Cu(I)-US-Y. Hydrogen capacities at 1 bar per gram of zeolites were found as 83 μmol g-1 (0.02 wt. %) at 278 K and 60 μmol g-1 at 296 K on Cu(I)-SSZ-39 and 35 μmol g-1 (0...
