The study aims to develop an integrity scale which could be used for job applicant selection in Turkey. The new scale was developed by gathering information related to integrity at work from people at different work places in Ankara. Then the interview results were content analyzed to obtain statements related to integrity at work. A group of referees consisting of graduate and undergraduate psychology students rated the appropriateness of the items in measuring integrity. The intra-class correlation was found to be satisfactory and some items were further revised. The revised items along with the other scales to be used in this study were administered to a sample 143 people whose backgrounds vary in both jobs and education. Reliability, correlation and factor analyses were conducted for the data. The results showed that the newly developed integrity test has three dimensions and the reliability of the scales obtained from the factor analysis is medium to high. The integrity test scores correlated with counter productive work behavior, sex, and age in the expected direction. The results were discussed and limitations of the study were given.
