Compositional investigation and phase identification of 13th century Anatolian Seljuk glazed tiles
Güney, Bilge Alp (Elsevier BV, 2020-01-01)
Glazed tiles from five madrasas built in Anatolia by Seljuks during 13th century were examined using multianalytical techniques to discover production processes, firing temperatures, raw materials and nature of colorants used. Turquoise colored glazes were assessed to be of the type tin-opacified lead-alkali whereas the violet-brown colored glaze was determined to be of the transparent alkali type. Copper and manganese were identified to be responsible for the turquoise and violet-brown color of the glazes,...

Composition Capability of Component-Oriented Development
Kaya, Muhammed Çağrı; Çetinkaya, Anıl; Doğru, Ali Hikmet (2017-10-30)
This research enhances component-oriented development approaches with the capability to represent the dynamic behavior of the final system through a process model. For an executable system, ordering of the message invocations should also be specified besides the definition of a set of components which only presents a static view. Components, however, are usually server kind software units that respond when a request is made. A central application can be expected to trigger some of the methods while some com...
Structural Morphology As A Field Of Architectural Inquiry
Pultar, Mustafa (Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, 1977)
Her iki tür yapı, yakın zamanlarda mimarlık araştırmalarında kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu yaklaşım ile şekil de yapısal...
