Dizel partikül filtre rejenerasyonu ve motor yağının seyrelmesi
Balkan, Tuna; Akkök, Metin; Konukseven, İlhan (null; 2014-05-05)
Dizel motorlarda partikül filtresi, Euro4 yasal zorunluluklarını yerine getirmek için kullanılır. Partikül filtresi yanma sonucu egzoz gazında oluşan partikül madde, azotoksitler (NO2), hidrokarbonlar (HC) ve karbonmonoksitler (CO) gibi önemli kirletici maddeleri azaltır. Filtrede biriken kül partiküller belli periyodlarda egzoz gazı sıcaklığının 5500C üzerine çıkarılması ile yakılırlar. Bu işleme “Yenileme” (Rejenerasyon) denir. Bu çalışmada Euro-4 partikül filtreli dizel araçlarda rejenerasyonun sık sık k...
Diesel Oil Degradation Potential of a Bacterium Inhabiting Petroleum Hydrocarbon Contaminated Surface Waters and Characterization of Its Emulsification Ability
Onur, Gozde; Yılmaz, Fadime; İçgen, Bülent (Wiley, 2015-07-01)
Degradation of poorly water soluble hydrocarbons, like n-alkanes and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are challenged by some bacteria through emulsification of hydrocarbons by producing biosurfactants. In diesel oil bioremediation, diesel oil degrading and surfactant producing bacteria are used to eliminate these pollutants from contaminated waters. Therefore, identifying and characterizing bacteria capable of producing surfactant and degrading diesel oil are pivotal. In this study, bacteria isolated from h...

Coke Minimization in Dry Reforming of Methane by Ni Based Mesoporous Alumina Catalysts Synthesized Following Different Routes: Effects of W and Mg
ARBAĞ, HÜSEYİN; YAŞYERLİ, SENA; YAŞYERLİ, NAİL; Doğu, Timur; DOĞU, GÜLŞEN (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2013-12-01)
Ni based mesoporous alumina (MA) catalysts were synthesized by sol-gel (SGA) and hydrothermal (MA) methods, following impregnation and one-pot synthesis routes and catalytic performances of these materials were tested in dry reforming of methane. Results proved the importance of synthesis procedure of the MA supports on the activity and coke resistance of the synthesized materials, containing 16 % Ni. Among these catalysts, MA prepared by the sol-gel technique (Ni@SGA) showed the highest activity in dry ref...
MERCURY SPECIATION BY ELECTROCHEMICAL SEPARATION AND COLD-VAPOR ATOMIC-ABSORPTION SPECTROMETRY
ERGUCYENER, C; AYGUN, S; Ataman, Osman Yavuz; TEMIZER, A (1988-01-01)
Mercury speciation in aqueous solutions containing inorganic mercury and methylmercury has been demonstrated using electrochemical separation prior to determination by cold-vapour atomic absorption spectrometry. Approximately 95% of the inorganic mercury was electro-deposited on a Pt electrode at –0.1 V, whereas for methylmercury –0.2 V or even more negative potentials were required. Organic mercury was determined by NaBH4 reduction after electrochemical separation. Inorganic mercury was determined in the o...
