Analysis of Magnetization as a Function of Temperature for CoMn1-x Fe (x) Ge
YÜCE EMRE, SÜHEYLA; Doğan, Ezgi; Emre, B.; Bruno, N. M.; Karaman, I.; Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit (2017-12-01)
Our experimental measurements for the magnetization M as a function of temperature are analyzed for the multilayer structure of CoMn1-x Fe (x) Ge for x = 0.085 and x = 0.12 at constant magnetic fields of 3, 5, and 7 T. For this analysis, a power-law formula is used below the transition temperature T-C for these compositions and the values of the critical exponent beta for the magnetization M (order parameter) are determined. Our analysis indicates that a first order transition at lower concentrations (x = 0...
Analysis of the Magnetization as a Function of the Magnetic Field at the Transition Temperature for La0.6Nd0.4Mn2Si2
Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit; Emre, B.; Acet, M. (2015-03-01)
We analyze in this study our experimental data for the magnetization (M) as a function of the magnetic field (H) at various constant temperatures for the multilayer structure of La Nd-0.6 Mn-0.4 Si-2 (2) close to the ferromagnetic-antiferromagnetic transitions. This analysis is performed at the transition temperatures (T (c)) for the M vs. H- H (c) (H (c) is the critical field) according to a power-law formula above and below H (c), and the values of the critical isotherm delta are deduced for La Nd-0.6 Mn-...
Analysis of the pressure fields in a swirling annular jet flow
Perçin, Mustafa; van Oudheusden, B. W. (2017-12-01)
In this paper, we investigate the flow structures and pressure fields of a free annular swirling jet flow undergoing vortex breakdown. The flow field is analyzed by means of time-resolved tomographic particle image velocimetry measurements, which enable the reconstruction of the three-dimensional time-resolved pressure fields using the governing flow equations. Both time-averaged and instantaneous flow structures are discussed, including a characterization of the first-and second-order statistical moments. ...
Analysis of Conformal Frequency Selective Surface Radome
Dalkilic, Akin; Alatan, Lale; Top, Can Baris (2014-04-11)
In this paper, the transmission characteristics of a conformal frequency selective surface (FSS) radome which is designed to operate in Ku-band is compared to its planar counterpart. The radome is designed to have narrow band-pass characteristics with a performance that is independent of the polarization and the angle of incidence of the incoming wave. The optimum dimension of the radome is optimized through the simulations of the infinite planar structure. Then, the performance of the conformal structure i...
Analysis of the peak position and linewidth as a function of temperature for the phase transitions in LiKSO4
Yurtseven, Hasan Hamit (World Scientific Pub Co Pte Lt, 2016-02-20)
Analysis of the peak position and the linewidths of various infrared modes is performed at high (300-850 K) and low (1.5-300 K) temperatures using the experimental data from the literature for LiKSO4 which exhibits a sequence of phase transitions. The temperature dependences of the frequency and the linewidth which are derived from the anharmonic self-energy are fitted to the observed peak positions and the linewidths of the S-O stretching modes (internal nu(3) modes at 1135 cm(-1) and at 1180 cm(-1)), peak...
