EFFECTS OF COPPER ELECTROPLATING PARAMETERS ON MICROSTRUCTURE AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF Al-Cu BRAZED JOINTS
Özdemir, Ayşe; Karakaya, İshak; Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (2022-12-02)
Almost 25, 50 and 75 microns of copper were deposited on aluminum alloys by using copper sulfate and copper pyrophosphate baths. And also, 20, 40 and 60 mA/cm2 current density were applied during electroplating process. After electroplating process, copper deposited aluminum pieces were brazed at 570℃ for 15 minutes by using furnace brazing in the first part of study. Shear test were applied to samples and strength of the joint which was brazed with sample that had 75 microns thickness coated at 60 mA/cm2 c...

Effects of tail states on the conduction mechanisms in silicon carbide thin films with high carbon content
SEL, KIVANÇ; AKAOĞLU, BARIŞ; Atilgan, Ismail; Katircioglu, Bayram (Elsevier BV, 2011-03-01)
Hydrogenated amorphous silicon carbide (a-SiCx:H) films of different carbon content (x) were deposited by radio frequency plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) system. Apart from the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and UV-Visible transmission analyses, the resistivity measurements between 293 K and 450 K were emphasized to assess the eventual transport mechanisms. The film resistivities are unexpectedly found relatively low, especially for high carbon content. In the frame of exclusive ba...
Effects of annealing on electrical resistivity of aluminum thin films
Güler (Yaroğlu), Hüsniye; Özenbaş, A. Macit; Department of Metallurgical Engineering (1990)
Effects of boron compounds on thermal degradation behaviour of polymers involving ester linkages
Çetinkaya, Nezaket Nehir; Hacaloğlu, Jale; Kaynak, Cevdet; Department of Polymer Science and Technology (2021-2-10)
Interest in polymer nanocomposites is growing exponentially across various scientific and engineering disciplines owing to their remarkable improvements in theirproperties compared to micro-and macro-conventional composites. Although polymers having good physical properties are commercially available, they are mostly hampered by their low melting temperatures, poor mechanical or barrier properties. Therefore, there is a considerable work on improvement of the proper...
