Core
Neutron activation analysis of Turkish coals and some preliminary studies on burning conditions.
Ayanoğlu, S. Fatih; Department of Chemical Engineering (1977)
Microwave assisted sythesis of rare earth ions doped lanthanum orthoborate, their characterizations and investigations of luminescence properties
Badan, Cansın; Yılmaz, Ayşen; Esentürk, Okan; Department of Chemistry (2012)
Lanthanum orthoborate (LaBO3) has aroused interest of scientists for many decades because of their remarkable properties and potential applications. They provide favorable magnetic properties for various applications. Additionally, they possess high VUV transparency and exceptional optical damage when they compose with rare earth elements. This study comprises the synthesis of pure lanthanum orthoborate, europium, dysprosium and terbium doped lanthanum orthoborate by two methods with v three fuels, citric a...
Microwave-assisted synthesis of Eu3+ doped lanthanum orthoborates, their characterizations and luminescent properties
BADAN, Cansin; Esentürk, Okan; Yılmaz, Ayşen (2012-11-01)
LaBO3 with various particle sizes have been successfully prepared by microwave-assisted combustion and sol-gel synthesis methods. Urea, citric acid and glycine have been used as fuels during the synthesis process. Characterizations were done by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy, Photoluminescence Excitation and Emission Spectroscopies, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). The SEM micrographs show dissimilar morphologies of powd...
Proton NMR studies on the restricted internal rotational processes of n-aryl barbituric acid derivatives.
Nalbantoğlu, Mübeccel Akman; Department of Chemistry (1980)
Proton NMR studies on 3-aryl-2-oxazolidinones and on restricted internal rotational processes of 3-aryl-5-methyl-2-thio-2,4-oxazolidinediones.
