Electrophilic Organoiridium(III) Pincer Complexes on Sulfated Zirconia for Hydrocarbon Activation and Functionalization
Syed, Zoha H.; Kaphan, David M.; Perras, Frédéric A.; Pruski, Marek; Ferrandon, Magali S.; Wegener, Evan C.; Çelik, Gökhan; Wen, Jianguo; Liu, Cong; Dogan, Fulya; Goldberg, Karen I.; Delferro, Massimiliano (American Chemical Society (ACS), 2019-04-17)
Single-site supported organometallic catalysts bring together the favorable aspects of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis while offering opportunities to investigate the impact of metal–support interactions on reactivity. We report a (dmPhebox)Ir(III) (dmPhebox = 2,6-bis(4,4-dimethyloxazolinyl)-3,5-dimethylphenyl) complex chemisorbed on sulfated zirconia, the molecular precursor for which was previously applied to hydrocarbon functionalization. Spectroscopic methods such as diffuse reflectance infrared...
ELECTROLUMINESCENT PROPERTIES OF CERTAIN POLYAROMATIC COMPOUNDS: PART 1-CHARACTERISTICS OF OLED DEVICES BASED ON FLUORESCENT POLYAROMATIC DOPANTS
Türker, Burhan Lemi; Tapan, Alper; Gumus, Selcuk (Informa UK Limited, 2009-01-01)
Organic electroluminescent devices recently have been focus of attention. Since the first demonstrations in this field, rapid developments have occurred in the usage of organic polyaromatic compounds and their derivatives for the purpose of multi-layer structures, multi-color, and full-color organic light-emitting diode displays. In the part-1 of the present short review, recent technical developments in the preparation and structure of organic light emitting diodes with special attention to organic emitter...
Electrospun amino-functionalized PDMS as a novel SPME sorbent for the speciation of inorganic and organometallic arsenic species
Boyacı, Ezel; Cagir, Ali; Demir, Mustafa M.; Eroglu, Ahmet E. (Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), 2013-01-01)
Sol-gel based amine-functionalized SPME fibers (PDMS-weak anion exchanger) were prepared and used for direct mode extraction of dimethylarsinic acid (DMA), monomethylarsonic acid (MMA), and arsenate (As(V)) from aqueous solutions followed by HPLC-ICPMS determination. Two different methods of coating were employed: (i) electrospinning and (ii) dip coating. Electrospinning was used for the first time for preparation of sol-gel based SPME fibers and was found to be superior in terms of extracted amount of arse...
ELECTROINITIATED POLYMERIZATION OF BIS(TRICHLOROPHENOXO)-TETRAMETHYLETHYLENE DIAMINE COPPER(II)
SACAK, M; Akbulut, Ural; KISAKUREK, D; TURKER, L; Toppare, Levent Kamil (Wiley, 1989-04-01)
Electroninitiated polymerization of bis(trichlorophenoxo)‐N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethylene diamine copper(II) was achieved in acetonitrile at various peak potentials of the monomer. A constant potential approach was selected in polymerization reactions. Electrolyses were carried out under air, nitrogen, and oxygen atmospheres. Structural analyses of the polymers were done by 1H‐NMR and 13C‐NMR FT–IR spectroscopy. Molecular weights of the polymers were determined by vapor pressure (isopiestic) method.
Electroinitated cationic homo and copolymerization of indene, styrene and some styrene derivations.
