There are many lakes, sinkholes, aquifers and springs with some complex interrelation among them in the karstic-lakes region of southern Turkey. Groundwater resources and lakes in the region are being used for municipal, industrial, and irrigation purposes at an increasing rate. The stable isotopes of hydrogen and oxygen were used to study the interrelation among lakes, groundwater aquifers, and coastal springs.
