Column fractionation of partially stereoregular poly(propylene oxide)
Alyürük, Kemal; Hartani, Khaled (Elsevier BV, 1989-12)
A column packed with glass beads has been used to fractionate partially stereoregular poly(propylene oxide) (PPO). PPO was first crystallized onto the glass beads from isooctane solution by stepwise lowering the column temperature. Each layer of PPO, which was deposited at different temperature ranges, was extracted by washing the beads with several columns full of isooctane. Thus several fractions differing in both stereoregularity and molecular weight were obtained by progressively increasing the extracti...
Column level two-step multi-slope analog to digital converter for CMOS image sensors
Tunca, Can; Koçer, Fatih; Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2017)
In the past few years, CMOS image sensors has performed an enormous growth in technology and their market is broadened with the integration cameras on the cell phones. The advancement trend continues as the pixel sizes getting smaller and the array formats getting larger. With pixels decreasing in size and growing in numbers, faster row read-out speed requirements have emerged to keep frame rates constant. Column parallel ADC architectures meet these demands as they utilize large numbers of parallel convers...

Column Parallel Incremental Zoom ADC for Uncooled Imaging Applications
Beyenir, Aycan; Akın, Tayfun; Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2022-8-11)
This thesis presents a new column-parallel analog to digital converter (ADC) integrated circuit with high precision (20-bit), high signal-to-noise ratio (119.5 dB), low power incremental Zoom ADC architecture and demonstrates its integration to a 384x288 pixel format analog output microbolometer readout integrated circuit (ROIC) with 25µm pixel pitch. The Zoom ADC is a hybrid of a low-resolution successive approximation register (SAR) ADC and a high-resolution Delta-Sigma ADC. The main aim of this design is...
