On the quantization of the chiral solitonic bag model
Pak, Namık Kemal; YILMAZ, T (1990-01-01)
A consistent quantization scheme for the two-flavor chiral solitonic bag model with unequal quark masses is developed employing a propagator formulation.
On the generalisation of special moduli for faster interleaved montgomery modular multiplication
AKLEYLEK, SEDAT; Cenk, Murat; Özbudak, Ferruh (2013-09-01)
In this study, the authors give a generalisation of special moduli for faster interleaved Montgomery modular multiplication algorithm with simplified pre-computational phase for GF(p(n)), where p 2 is a prime number and n is a positive integer. The authors propose different sets of moduli that can be used in elliptic curve crytographic applications and pairing-based cryptography. Moreover, this method also leads to efficient implementations for the elliptic curve parameters given in standards. It is shown t...
On the universality of low-energy string model
Dereli, T; Obukhov, YN (IOP Publishing, 2000-01-07)
The low-energy (bosonic 'heterotic') string theory is interpreted as a universal limit of the Kaluza-Klein reduction when the dimension of an internal space goes to infinity. We show that such an approach is helpful in obtaining classical solutions of the string model. As a particular application, we obtain new exact static solutions for the two-dimensional effective string model. They turn out to be in agreement with the generalized no-hair conjecture, in complete analogy with the four- and higher-dimensio...

On the Lagrange interpolation in multilevel fast multipole algorithm
Ergül, Özgür Salih (2006-07-14)
In this paper the Lagrange interpolation employed in the multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) is considered as part of the efforts to obtain faster and more efficient solutions for large problems of computational electromagnetics. For the translation operator, this paper presents the choice of the parameters for optimal interpolation. Also, for the aggregation and disaggregation processes, the interpolation matrices are discussed and an efficient way of improving the accuracy by employing the poles a...
