This thesis aims to study the influence of Iranian Revolution in 1979 on Islamism in Turkey. In this study, it is argued that Iranian Revolution influenced Islamist intellectual life in Turkey and a new school, Iran-inspired Islam(ism), emerged in Turkey after 1979.
