On forward interest rate models : via random fields and Markov jump processes
Altay, Sühan; Körezlioğlu, Hayri; Department of Financial Mathematics (2007)
The essence of the interest rate modeling by using Heath-Jarrow-Morton framework is to find the drift condition of the instantaneous forward rate dynamics so that the entire term structure is arbitrage free. In this study, instantaneous forward interest rates are modeled using random fields and Markov Jump processes and the drift conditions of the forward rate dynamics are given. Moreover, the methodology presented in this study is extended to certain financial settings and instruments such as multi-country...
On Multi-Dimensional and Noisy Quadratic Signaling Games and Affine Equilibria
Sarıtaş, Serkan; Gezici, Sinan (2015-01-01)
This study investigates extensions of the quadratic cheap talk and signaling game problem, which has been introduced in the economics literature. Two main contributions of this study are the extension of Crawford and Sobel's cheap talk formulation to multi-dimensional sources, and the extension to noisy channel setups as a signaling game problem. We show that, in the presence of misalignment, the quantized nature of all equilibrium policies holds for any scalar random source. It is shown that for multi-dime...
ON COMPLEMENTARY DUAL ADDITIVE CYCLIC CODES
GÜNERİ, CEM; Özbudak, Ferruh; Ozdemir, Funda (2017-05-01)
A code is said to be complementary dual if it meets its dual trivially. We give a sufficient condition for a special class of additive cyclic codes to be complementary dual.
On Linear Complementary Pairs of Codes
CARLET, Claude; Guneri, Cem; Özbudak, Ferruh; Ozkaya, Buket; SOLE, Patrick (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 2018-10-01)
We study linear complementary pairs (LCP) of codes (C, D), where both codes belong to the same algebraic code family. We especially investigate constacyclic and quasicyclic LCP of codes. We obtain characterizations for LCP of constacyclic codes and LCP of quasi-cyclic codes. Our result for the constacyclic complementary pairs extends the characterization of linear complementary dual (LCD) cyclic codes given by Yang and Massey. We observe that when C and I) are complementary and constacyclic, the codes C and...
