Interference studies in slotted silica tube trap technique
Korkmaz, D; Mahmut, M; Helles, R; Ertas, N; Ataman, Osman Yavuz (2003-01-01)
Interference effects of KCl, NH4H2PO4, (NH4)(2)CO3, MgCl2, NH4NO3, NaNO3, (NH4)(2)SO4, MgSO4.7H(2)O, CaCl2, Ca(NO3)(2) and NaCl on Bi, Cd, In, Pb and Sb were investigated using the atom trapping technique with a double slotted silica tube. Analyte solutions at concentration levels of 60, 6, 300, 75, 100 ng mL(-1) for Bi, Cd, In, Pb and Sb, respectively, were aspirated into an air-acetylene flame and analyte species were collected on the silica surface. Revolatilization was effected by aspirating IBMK at the...
Interference effects in the decay phi ->pi(0)pi(0)gamma and the coupling constant g(phi sigma gamma)
Gokalp, A; Yılmaz, Osman (2001-09-01)
We study the radiative decay phi --> pi (0)pi (0)gamma within the framework, of a phenomenological approach in which the contributions of sigma mesons, rho mesons, and f(0) mesons are considered. We analyze the interference effects between different contributions and, utilizing the experimental branching ratio for this decay, we estimate the coupling constant g(phi sigma gamma).
Interference effect of iron on the determination of gold in geological samples using the vapor generation technique and preconcentration in a graphite furnace
Ertaş, Gülay; Ataman, Osman Yavuz (2006-04-01)
A vapor generation procedure for the production of volatile species of An was studied using electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS). The interference effects of iron in solution and in the gas phase in a quartz T-tube were studied for the first time in detail. A dual vapor generation system was used for a single heated quartz tube atomizer, so that it was possible to study interferences and classify them regarding their origins. Results show that both gas-phase and liquid-phase interferences a...
Absorption edge and optical constants of Tl2Ga2S3Se crystals from reflection and transmission, and ellipsometric measurements
Isik, M.; Hasanlı, Nızamı (2012-06-15)
The optical properties of Tl2Ga2S3Se layered crystalline semiconductors were investigated from transmission, reflection and ellipsometric measurements. The experimental results of the room temperature transmission and reflection measurements performed in the wavelength range of 400-1100 nm showed the presence of both indirect and direct transitions in the band structure of the crystals with 2.38 and 2.62 eV band gap energies.
