Intrinsic photoconductivity of P3HT films measured by time-resolved THz spectroscopy
Esentürk, Okan; Heilweil, Edwin J. (2007-12-01)
Intrinsic photoconductivities of P3HT polymers were measured and compared by using optical pump-THz probe spectroscopy. The charge carrier mobility shows a clear dependence on the molecular weight and dispersion index of the polymers.
Intrinsic and Statistical Size Effects in Microforming
Yalçınkaya, Tuncay; Simonovski, Igor; ÖZDEMİR, İZZET (2017-04-28)
This paper analyzes the intrinsic (grain size dependent) and the statistical (grain number and orientation distribution dependent) size effects of micron level polycrystalline metallic specimens under plastic deformation through a strain gradient crystal plasticity framework. The macroscopic and local behavior of specimens from very limited number of grains to high number of grains are studied and the results are discussed in detail taking into account different boundary conditions.
Structural properties of methylated human promoter regions in terms of DNA helical rise

Structural fusion of condensed benzenoid systems
Türker, Burhan Lemi (1996-01-01)
On the basis of ring topologies, some theorems for the structural fusion of condensed benzenoids are presented. It has been proved that the oddness or evenness of the fused system is dictated by the degree of fusion.
Directional Interactions of alpha-Particles with FOX-7. A DFT Study
Türker, Burhan Lemi (2015-04-01)
FOX-7 is exposed to the effects of -particles from selected directions of approach. Various energies and properties of these composite FOX-7 systems (FOX-7+-particle) are obtained. The effect of -particles on FOX-7 is drastic. The CC double bond turns into a single bond and one of the CNO2 bonds highly elongates. The approach from the side of amino groups results more stable composite system compared to the approach from the side of nitro groups.
