© 2021 Published by the American Physical SocietyForm factors of the weak transitions are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules. The pollution coming from the contribution of the negative parity baryon is eliminated by considering the combinations of sum rules corresponding to the different Lorentz structures. Having obtained the form factors, the branching ratios of the decays are also calculated, and our predictions are compared with the results of other approaches as well as the measurements done by the BELLE and ALICE collaborations.

Light cone QCD sum rules analysis of the axial N ->Delta transition form factors
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (Elsevier BV, 2008-02-01)
The axial N - Delta(1232) transition form factors are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules method. A comparison of our results with the predictions of lattice theory and quark model is presented.
Semileptonic B-s -> D-sJ(2460)l nu decay in QCD
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2007-08-01)
Using three point QCD sum rule methods, the form factors relevant to semileptonic B-s -> D-sJ(2460)l nu decay are calculated. The q(2) dependences of these form factors are evaluated and compared with the heavy quark effective theory predictions. The dependence of the asymmetry parameter alpha, characterizing the polarization of the D-sJ meson, on q(2) stop is studied. The branching ratio of this decay is also estimated, and it is shown that it can easily be detected at LHC.
Octet baryon magnetic moments in light cone QCD sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Özpineci, Altuğ; Savcı, Mustafa (2002-07-01)
Octet baryon magnetic moments are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. The analysis is carried out for the general form of the interpolating currents for octet baryons. A comparison of our results on the magnetic moments of octet baryons with the predictions of other approaches and experimental data is presented.
Tensor form factors of B -> K-1 transition from QCD light cone sum rules
Alıyev, Tahmasıb; Savcı, Mustafa (Elsevier BV, 2011-05-30)
The tensor form factors of B into p-wave axial vector meson transition are calculated within light cone QCD sum rules method. The parametrizations of the tensor form factors based on the series expansion are presented.
Hyperbolic conservation laws on spacetimes. A finite volume scheme based on differential forms
Lefloch, Philippe G.; Okutmuştur, Baver (Pushpa Publishing House, 2008-10-01)
We consider nonlinear hyperbolic conservation laws, posed on a differential (n + 1)-manifold with boundary referred to as a spacetime, and in which the “flux” is defined as a flux field of n-forms depending on a parameter (the unknown variable). We introduce a formulation of the initial and boundary value problem which is geometric in nature and is more natural than the vector field approach recently developed for Riemannian manifolds. Our main assumption on the manifold and the flux field...
