STATISTICAL PROCESS ANALYSIS IN BROILER FEED FORMULATION
ALTI, M; OZILGEN, M (Wiley, 1994-09-01)
Statistical analysis of broiler feed production was done with data obtained in an industrial plant in an attempt to characterise the causes of variations in feed composition. Analysis of the experimental data has shown that the feed conversion ratio (FCR) for broilers was between 1.8 and 2.5. This large range of observations were thought to be caused by the wide range of variations in the composition of the feeds. The major factor contributing to the variance of the feed compositions was the variance of the...

Statistical And Machine Learning Modelling Of Suicıde Rate With Respect To Provinces In Turkey
Erdoğan, Süleyman; İlk Dağ, Özlem; Department of Statistics (2022-8-18)
There are many factors that can affect the individual’s mental health and thus lead them to commit suicide. This study, focuses on the social and economic factors that may contribute to the suicide rates in all provinces of Turkey. Possible effects of these factors are studied in an 8 year period between 2012-2019 using standard longitudinal data modelling methods and hybrid modelling methods. Standard longitudinal data models include; fixed effect models, random effect models and transition models whereas ...
Statistical Approach of Two-three Parameters Rheological Models for Polymer Type Drilling Fluid Analysis
Kök, Mustafa Verşan (Informa UK Limited, 2010-01-01)
In this study, 45 KCl/polymer type of drilling fluid samples were prepared for statistical analysis. Six difference (600, 300, 200, 100, 6, and 3) readings at standard Fann viscometer speeds were determined in order to estimate the rheological model parameters of our different models, as follows: Bingham Plastic, Power-Law, Hershel-Bulkley, and Robertson-Stiff. Parameters of the rheological models are estimated by explicitly solving the required number of equations simultaneously. Different statistical tech...
STATISTICAL PARAMETERS CHARACTERIZING THE SPATIAL VARIABILITY OF SELECTED SOIL HYDRAULIC-PROPERTIES
Ünlü, Kahraman; BIGGAR, JW; MORKOC, F (Wiley, 1990-11-01)
The knowledge of the statistical parameters of the variance, sigma-2, and the correlation scale, lambda, characterizing the spatial structures of the log of the saturated hydraulic conductivity, lnK(s), pore size distribution parameter alpha, and the specific water capacity, C, is required in stochastic modeling in order to understand the overall response of large-scale heterogenous unsaturated flow systems. These parameters are estimated assuming second-order stationarity and an exponential semivariogram ...
