SOUTHERN MENDERES MASSIF - AN INCIPIENT METAMORPHIC CORE COMPLEX IN WESTERN ANATOLIA, TURKEY
Bozkurt, Erdin (Geological Society of London, 1994-03-01)
In the southern sector of the Menderes Massif, north of Selimiye (Milas) augen gneisses interpreted as a deformed peraluminous granite have been dynamothermally metamorphosed and are surrounded by and intrude a regionally metamorphosed Palaeozoic 'envelope'. The granitic rocks exhibit a moderately-dipping mylonitic foliation and NNE-SSW- trending mineral elongation lineation. The progressive deformation of the granitic rocks produces a structural sequence typical of an extensional shear zone marked, from bo...

Southeastern European Grid-enabled elnfrastructure development 2 (SEE-GRID-2)
Şener, Cevat(2008-4-30)
Establishment of highly-sophisticated collaborative models for use of computing and data resources across various domains all over Europe and worldwide is currently being pursued through several Grid research efforts. The SEE-GRID regional initiative has demonstrated that a geographically independent, common-pool of computing resources can be of great scientific value to a widely distributed, less-resourced region like South-East Europe (SEE). Through the interconnection of the SEE regional infrastructure t...
