Quality management system in non-destructive testing laboratories: Accreditation as a testing laboratory Gür, Cemil Hakan (1998-09-01) This article presents the quality assurance system established in the NDT Laboratories of the Middle East Technical University - Welding Technology and NDT Centre in Ankara, Turkey. The quality assurance system is based on the requirements of EN 45001 : 'General criteria for the operation of testing laboratories'. In 1995 the quality system activities began, and these NDT laboratories were audited and accredited as a testing laboratory by DAR-Germany in November 1996.
