SRBF_Soft: a Python-based open-source software for regional gravity field modeling using spherical radial basis functions based on the data-adaptive network design methodology
Uluğ, Raşit; Karslıoğlu, Mahmut Onur (2022-03-01)
This study introduces a novel open-source Python software package called SRBF_Soft for the high-resolution regional gravity field determination using various spherical radial basis functions (SBRFs) in terms of point mass, Poisson, and Poisson wavelet kernel. The modeling approach considers residual gravity field functionals generated by the well-known remove-compute-restore (RCR) technique where the long and short wavelength parts of the gravity signal are provided by a global geopotential model (GGM) and ...

SIBSHIP SIZE AND PERSONALITY
VATAN, SEVGİNAR; Gençöz, Faruk; Lester, David (SAGE Publications, 2010-02-01)
In a study of 330 Turkish undergraduate students, only children scored higher on measures of hopelessness and suicidality and seemed more concerned with interpersonal relationships.
WRF-Hydro Model Application in a Data-Scarce, Small and Topographically Steep Catchment in Samsun, Turkey
Ozkaya, Arzu; Akyürek, Sevda Zuhal (2020-05-01)
Floods due to heavy rainfall are one of the most frequent and widespread natural hazards. Rainfall is one of the key variables in flood modeling. For topographically steep catchments, flood modeling requires accurate rainfall sources in both time and space. The objective of this study is to compare different rainfall sources in physics-based distributed hydrologic model, (Weather Research and Forecasting) WRF-Hydro, in a data-scarce, small and topographically steep catchment. For this purpose, the model was...
DRBEM Solution of MHD Flow in an Array of Electromagnetically Coupled Rectangular Ducts
Tezer, Münevver; ŞENEL, PELİN (2019-01-01)
We present the dual reciprocity boundary element method (DRBEM) solution to magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow in a single and two parallel ducts which are separated by conducting walls of arbitrary thickness in the direction of external magnetic field. The DRBEM discretized coupled MHD convection-diffusion equations in the ducts and the Laplace equations on the shared walls are solved as a whole by using constant boundary elements with the coupled induced current wall conditions. It is shown that, the conducti...
