Assess agility : agility assessment approach supported with an automated web based agility assessment tool
Adalı, Onat Ege; Demirörs, Onur; Özcan Top, Özden; Department of Information Systems (2017)
Today, more and more organizations are adopting agile methodologies to their software development processes. However, this adoption process is not straightforward due to the extensive knowledge and effort required. Currently, most agile adopters use assessments at a regular basis to understand the extent of their agility and to determine the success of their agile adoption. There have been many studies conducted about agile assessment models in the literature. Still, these models require significant time an...
Comparison of ASCE/SEI standard (2010) and modal pushover based ground motion scaling procedures for pre-tensioned concrete bridges
Özgenoğlu, Müge; Arıcı, Yalın; Department of Civil Engineering (2015)
The seismic design and evaluation of large bridges is a demanding task owing to the significant size and the structural characteristics of these systems. Although elastic analysis methods are regarded as sufficient for common, uncritical bridges; complex analysis methods such as non-linear time history analysis (NTHA) are often required for non-standard and/or important bridges. The selection of the ground motions that will be used in non-linear time history analysis is a crucial task in this regard as the ...
ESSİTALOPRAM’IN SPİNGOMYELİN MODEL MEMBRANLARI İLE ETKİLEŞMESİNİN YAPISAL VE İŞLEVSEL AÇIDAN BİYOFİZİKSEL YÖNTEMLERLE ARAŞTIRILMASI
HIGH SCHOOL DROPOUT RATES IN MASSACHUSETTS: CONTRIBUTING SCHOOL FACTORS AND EFFECTIVENESS OF A CHANGE IN SCHOOL CHOICE MECHANISM
Akbulut, Orhun; Dayıoğlu Tayfur, Meltem; Department of Economics (2021-6)
It is viewed that high dropout rates in high school in the US is still a relevant and persistent problem. Apart from the individual reasons, school-related factors also contribute to the decision of dropping out. School choice mechanisms, the algorithms through which students are placed into high schools, might also be relevant for the decision to drop out due to the importance of placing the right students into right schools. To this end, I study the school related factors influencing the dropout rates of ...
Structural, optical and electrical characterization of CDSEXTE1-X thin films
Demir, Merve; Parlak, Mehmet; Department of Physics (2020)
The aim of this study is to investigate the structural, optical and electrical properties of ternary CdSexTe1-x thin films. CdTe and CdSe thin films are being used in solar cells due to their favorable direct band gaps of 1.5eV and 1.7eV, respectively. Moreover, having high absorption coefficients provide an important role to CdTe and CdSe films as an absorber layer. Therefore, by mixing these two films, properties of resultant ternary CdSexTe1-x alloy can be optimized for solar cell applications. Chemical ...
