Hayrettin Reşat Köymen

Hayrettin Reşat Köymen graduated from METU Department of Civil Engineering in 1968 and served as B.S. assisstant at METU Department of Civil Engineering Water Sources Discipline, and completed his master studies until 1970. In 1971-72, he served in the military as the Third Lieutenant in MSB NATO Infrastructure Directorate. During this period, he completed 7 NATO Airport project / tender works in Turkey. He also served two semesters as a Part-Time Instructor at METU Engineering Sciences during this period. During the period of September 72 - December 73, he completed the full renovation of the runway and apron of Ankara Güvercinlik Military Airport as a construction supervisor in the private sector. In 1974, he worked as the project engineer and manager in 3 different private companies. He founded Ere Engineering Ltd. in 1975. This company grew in the following years and became a company union. H. Reşat Köymen, founder of Ere Engineering Ltd., worked as the general building contractor of military facilities, infrastructure facilities, ports and quays, houses, Sivas Iron & Steel Plant, hotels and telecommunication facilities. In 1996, he set up business in the telecommunication management by revenue sharing method and later with license. Again in 1966, he set up and operated a hydroelectric power plant first with YID model and three hydroelectric power plants with license after 2000. They became Turkey's first licensed hydroelectric projects. Between 1998 and 2007, he was the President of Turkish Wind Energy Association and Chairman of Turkish Assembly of Energy. He left the energy industry in 2007. Since 2007, he has been conducting telecommunications management business under the roof of Ere Group Company Eser Telekomünikasyon A.Ş.
