Context. Low mass X-ray binaries are found to have very low frequency breaks in their power density spectra. The power density spectra below these breaks are nearly in white noise structure and at higher frequencies approximately follow the P nu proportional to nu(-1.3) law.

Origin of gamma-ray emission in the shell of Cassiopeia A
Saha, L.; Ergin, Tülün; Majumdar, P.; Bozkurt, M.; Ercan, E. N. (EDP Sciences, 2014-03-01)
Context. Non-thermal X-ray emission from the shell of Cassiopeia A (Cas A) has been an interesting subject of study, as it provides information about relativistic electrons and their acceleration mechanisms in shocks. The Chandra X-ray observatory revealed the detailed spectral and spatial structure of this supernova remnant in X-rays. The spectral analysis of the Chandra X-ray data of Cas A shows unequal flux levels for different regions of the shell, which can be attributed to different magnetic fields in...
Optical variabilities in the Be/X-ray binary system - GRO J2058+42 (CXOU J205847.5+414637)
Kiziloglu, Ue.; Kiziloglu, N.; Baykal, Altan; Yerli, Sinan Kaan; Ozbey, M. (EDP Sciences, 2007-08-01)
Aims. We present an analysis of long-term optical monitoring observations and optical spectroscopic observations of the counterpart to CXOU J205847.5+414637 (high-mass X-ray binary system). We search for variability in the light curve of Be star.
Optical and X-ray outbursts of Be/X-ray binary system SAX J2103.5+4545
Kiziloglu, Ue.; Ozbilgen, S.; Kiziloglu, N.; Baykal, Altan (EDP Sciences, 2009-12-01)
Aims. The main goal of this study is to investigate the relationship between the optical and X-ray behaviours of the Be/X-ray binary system SAX J2103.5+4545.
Recent RXTE/ASM and ROTSEIIId observations of EXO 2030+375 (V2246 Cygni)
Baykal, Altan; Kiziloglu, N.; Beklen, E.; Oezbey, M. (EDP Sciences, 2008-02-01)
Aims. Using the archival RXTE/ASM and SWIFT/BAT observations, the new orbital phases of type I outbursts of EXO 2030+375 are estimated. A possible correlation between the type II outburst and optical brightness variations is investigated.
Activity from the Be/X-ray binary system V0332+53 during its intermediate-luminosity outburst in 2008
Caballero-Garcia, M. D.; Camero-Arranz, A.; Arabaci, M. Ozbey; Zurita, C.; Suso, J.; Gutierrez-Soto, J.; BEKLEN BARTO, Elif; Kiaeerad, F.; Garrido, R.; Hudec, R. (EDP Sciences, 2016-05-01)
Aims. We present a study of the Be/X-ray binary system V 0332+53 with the main goal of characterizing its behaviour mainly during the intermediate-luminosity X-ray event in 2008. In addition, we aim to contribute to the understanding of the behaviour of the donor companion by including optical data from our dedicated campaign starting in 2006.
