An important result of Turull ( 1984) is the following: Let GA be a finite solvable group, G GA and (vertical bar G vertical bar, vertical bar A vertical bar) = 1. Then f( G) = f(C-G(A)) + 2l(A), where f denotes the Fitting height and l denotes the composition length.

On the moduli spaces of fiber bundles of curves of genus >= 2
Onsiper, H (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2000-11-02)
We determine the moduli spaces parametrizing analytic fiber bundles of curves of genus g greater than or equal to 2 over curves of genus g(b) > (g + 1)/2.
Invariant subspaces for Banach space operators with an annular spectral set
Yavuz, Onur (2008-01-01)
Consider an annulus Omega = {z epsilon C : r(0) 0 such that parallel to p(T)parallel to <= K sup{vertical bar p(lambda)vertical bar : vertical bar lambda vertical bar <= 1} and parallel to p(r(0)T(-1))parallel to <= K sup{vertical bar p(lambda)vertical bar : vertical bar lambda vertical bar <= 1} for all polynomials p. Then there exists a nontrivial common invariant subspace for T* and T*(-1).
On homology of real algebraic varieties
Ozan, Yıldıray (American Mathematical Society (AMS), 2001-01-01)
Let R be a commutative ring with unity and X an R-oriented compact nonsingular real algebraic variety of dimension n. If i : X --> X-C is any nonsingular complexification of X, then the kernel, which we will denote by KHk(X, R), of the induced homomorphism i(*) : H-k(X, R) --> H-k(X-C, R) is independent of the complexification. In this work, we study KHk(X, R) and give some of its applications.
On a Fitting length conjecture without the coprimeness condition
Ercan, Gülin (Springer Science and Business Media LLC, 2012-08-01)
Let A be a finite nilpotent group acting fixed point freely by automorphisms on the finite solvable group G. It is conjectured that the Fitting length of G is bounded by the number of primes dividing the order of A, counted with multiplicities. The main result of this paper shows that the conjecture is true in the case where A is cyclic of order p (n) q, for prime numbers p and q coprime to 6 and G has abelian Sylow 2-subgroups.
REGULARITY OF QUOTIENTS OF DRINFELD MODULAR SCHEMES
Kondo, Satoshi; Yasuda, Seidai (Mathematical Sciences Publishers, 2020-02-01)
Let A be the coordinate ring of a projective smooth curve over a finite field minus a closed point. For a nontrivial ideal I subset of A, Drinfeld defined the notion of structure of level I on a Drinfeld module.
