Vector tracking loop design for GPS receivers
Üzel, Deniz; Baykal, Buyurman; Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2016)
This study describes the design of a modern GPS receiver architecture based on vector tracking loops. Since the traditional tracking loops process the signals independently, there is no information exchange between channels. Due to that fact, aiding of weaker signals in the presence of relatively strong signals is impossible. On the other hand, vector tracking loops simultaneously process the signals from all visible channels. Therefore, they are able to perform better than the traditional tracking loops in...
Vector Magnetic Characteristic Analysis of Induction Motor considering Effect of Harmonic Component due to Secondary Slot
Enokizono, Masato; Kunihiro, Naoki (2011-09-10)
This paper presents load characteristics of a three-phase induction motor model core calculated with the finite element method considering two-dimensional vector magnetic properties. Influence of harmonic components due to the secondary slot of the rotor core on the total iron loss is investigated. In this paper we propose a new iron loss calculation method to consider higher harmonic components.

Vector boson production in association with jets at CMS
Yalvaç, Metin; ÖCALAN, KADİR (2018-07-06)
The production cross section of highly boosted vector bosons (V = W, Z or gamma) recoiling against jets is studied, with CMS data, differentially as function of the transverse momentum and angular correlations of the final state particles. The measurements are confronted with different state-of-the-art theory predictions that include next-to-leading order calculations and matrix-element plus parton shower event simulations.
